I was looking for something special to get my daughters for their college graduations. I saw some of the outstanding woodworking that Walter had done for the Kansas City Chiefs and I reached out to see if he had the time to make a couple of graduation plaques. Walt was extremely helpful in the design. He offers many great suggestions and was patient with me as I wasn’t really sure what would look best. The end results were amazing and my daughters both loved there plaques which they currently have proudly displayed in their homes. I cannot thank Walter enough for the time, care and attention to detail that he put into these. I give the highest recommendation if you are looking for something special to give as a gift!
I have known Walter for almost 50 years. Anything he has ever done artistically has been awesome. I appreciate his work because I am also an artist who pays attention to detail. You can’t go wrong ordering anything from Walter. His carving of jazz fest second liners on a clock that he carved for our engagement party is out of this world!!!
I’ve known Walty for over 40 years now, since way back in the earlier years of his woodworking. Even then, doing it part time because of work demands, you could see his dedication and commitment to developing his craft. I still have some small pieces he did as gifts for me back then, which were great even then. Imagine how much more his talent and creativity shine through now! You almost wouldn’t believe some of the stories of Walt’s life if you didn’t know him – especially how he came to be doing all the Kansas City Chiefs stuff – but they’re true nonetheless!! If you need some unique, high quality woodwork done, and you need a unique, high quality individual to do it, Walt is da man for the job! 😃
